Scope
GB/T 11785-2026 is the English-translated version of 铺地材料的燃烧性能测定 辐射热源法.
GB/T 11785-2026 — This document specifies the conditions for horizontally installed flooring materials exposed in a test chamber with a specific thermal radiation flux distribution gradient, at the ignition point.
This is a test method for evaluating the combustion behavior, flame propagation, and smoke production characteristics of a fire-prone surface.
The smoke production characteristics are determined in Appendix A. This document applies to the flammability of flooring materials (including substrates) such as fabric carpets, cork flooring, wood flooring, PVC flooring, and floor coatings.
It can be measured. Any backing material, bonding method to the substrate, underlayer material, or other variations of the flooring material can affect the test results.
This document applies to the determination and description of the combustion performance of flooring materials under flame and thermal effects under controlled test conditions. Information on the accuracy of the test methods is provided in Appendix B.
