1 Scope

GB/T 1134-2008 is the Chinese national standard on machine reamers with edge inclination, in the field of manufacturing engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. This standard applies to a diameter greater than 5.3mm to 20mm high speed steel cutting edge inclination straight shank machine reamers and greater than 7.5mm in diameter to 40mm high speed steel cutting edge inclination Morse taper shank machine reamers.
