1 Scope

GB 7300.405-2025 is the Chinese national standard on feed additives - part 4: enzymes - alpha-galactosidase, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 30 June 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2026. Classification: ICS 65.120, CCS B46. This document defines the terminology of feed additive alpha-galactosidase and specifies the technical requirements, sampling, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and transportation, storage and shelf life, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to solid feed additives made by fermenting Aspergillus niger, separating, adding or not adding carriers, etc. alpha-galactosidase.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 alpha-galactosidase melibiase An enzyme that hydrolyzes the non-reducing terminal alpha-D-galactose residues of oligosaccharides.

Note. Oligosaccharides containing alpha-D-galactoside residues include melibiose, raffinose, and stachyose.
