3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB 5135.1 apply to this document.

3.1 Conductivity factor

A measure of the thermal conductivity of a heat sensitive element of a showerhead and its fixture.

3.2 Actual watering density

ADD The density of sprinkling water that penetrates the fire plume to the surface of the combustion.

3.3 Early suppression of earlysuppression

In the early stage of the fire, the sprinkler system can have enough water to quickly act on the fire even if only a few nozzles are activated, and extinguish or suppress the fire.
