Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.

This document replaces GB 28286-2012 General requirements of industrial explosive and GB 14493-2003 Packaging of industrial explosives. Compared with GB 28286-2012 and GB 14493-2003, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

- a chapter "Terms and definitions" has been added (see Chapter 3);

- classification of industrial explosives by composition and physical state and by initiation sensitivity has been added (see 4.1.1 and 4.1.2);

- "Basic requirements" have been added, into which the mandatory provisions from the "Requirements" of the former documents that had no performance indicator or no test method have been moved (see Chapter 5);

- provisions on the toxic gas content after explosion of explosives without detonator sensitivity for non-underground use have been added (see 6.2);

- the provisions on grading of industrial explosives and on classification by place of use have been deleted (see 3.1 and 3.2 of GB 28286-2012);

- the provision that explosive formulations shall not contain substances detrimental to safety, harmful to health or polluting the environment, or substances prohibited by the State, has been deleted (see 4.1.1 of GB 28286-2012);

- detonation performance and the corresponding indicators have been changed to "specified by the enterprise technical documents" (see 5.3; 4.4 of GB 28286-2012);

- the content relating to factory inspection and type inspection has been changed (see 8.2 and 8.3; 6.2 and 6.3 of GB 28286-2012);

- the content of "Marking (identification) and packaging" has been changed, replacing the reference to GB 14493 (see 9.1 and 9.2; 7.1 and 7.2 of GB 28286-2012; GB 14493-2003).
