This Part replaces GB 16715.4-1999 "Seeds of vegetables cabbage." this section compared with GB 16715.4-1999, the main changes are as follows.

--- Revised definitions and terminology;

--- Canceled cabbage hybrid seed quality rating;

--- Revised net requirement of conventional cabbage field with the original species and species of clarity, purity requirements;

--- Modify the parent stock and cabbage field with clarity species, germination rate requirement;

--- Modified hybrid cabbage field with the kind of purity, clarity, germination rate requirement;

--- Modify the original species and kohlrabi conventional field with the kind of purity and cleanliness requirements;

--- Cancel the packaging, transportation, storage of reference provisions;

--- Revised inspection rules.

This section proposed by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Agriculture.

This part of the National Standardization Technical Committee of Crop Seeds (SAC/TC37) centralized.

1 Scope

GB 16715 of the provisions of this part of the cabbage (BrassicaoleraceaL.var.capitataL.), Kohlrabi (Brassica deraceaL.var.capitataDC.), broccoli (BrassicaoleraceaL.var.botrytisL.) seed quality requirements, the inspecting Party Method and inspection rules.

This Part applies to the production of People's Republic of China, said sales of cabbage seeds including capsuled seeds and non-coated seeds.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this part of GB 16715.

Stock basicseed

Breeder seed multiplication with the first generation to the third generation, seeds and confirmed to meet the specified quality requirements.

Field with the kind qualifiedseed with the original breeder of the first generation to the third generation or hybrid seeds, seeds and confirmed to meet the specified quality requirements.

Clarity analysis, germination test, moisture determination, authenticity and variety identification shall implement the provisions of GB/T 3543's.
