Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB 15090-2005 "Fire Hose Reels". Compared with GB 15090-2005, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. In addition, the main technological changes are as follows:

a) Terms and definitions have been changed (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2005 edition);

b) The fire hose reel model has been changed (see 4.2,.2005 edition 4.2);

c) Structural requirements have been changed (see 5.2, 6.2,

6.10 in the.2005 edition);

d) The basic technical parameters of the fire hose reel, such as rated working pressure, range, and flow rate, have been changed (see Table 2 in 5.3,.2005 edition). Table 1 in section 4.1)

e) The spraying performance requirements and test methods have been changed (see 5.3, 6.3, and

6.1 in the.2005 edition);

f) Added requirements and test methods for spray water flow (see 5.4, 6.4);

g) The performance requirements and test methods for spray guns have been changed (see 5.10, 6.10, and

6.7 of the.2005 edition);

h) The requirements for the inner diameter and length of the hose have been changed (see 5.11.1,

5.8.1 in the.2005 edition);

1 Scope

GB 15090-2026 rewrites the fire hose reel standard and triples its length, from four thousand words to twelve. It keeps the structure - classification and model, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking - but broadens the performance requirements and adds the instruction manual to what must be supplied with the product. It replaces GB 15090-2005 from 1 February 2027, which is the date by which a manufacturer must have requalified the reel, the hose, the nozzle and the valve. Issued on 28 January 2026. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 It consists of valves, inlet pipes, discs, reel, hoses, and spray guns, and can spray extinguishing agent while rapidly deploying the hose. Firearms.
