1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, test rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of UV-protective light weight outdoor clothing.
This standard applies to UV-protective light weight outdoor clothing made primarily of lightweight textile fabrics.
This standard does not apply to skin jackets for infants and young children aged 36 months and under.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15557 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 UV-protective light weight outdoor clothing
Outdoor clothing made primarily of textile fabrics, with UV protection and a single- layer fabric conditioned weight per square meter (or the sum of the conditioned weights per square meter of multiple layers of fabric) not exceeding 60 g/m2.
3.2 fluorescent color
A color named based on the characteristic, whose dyes or pigments absorb and strongly emit light in the visible light region and emit the fluorescence to exhibit the color.
4 Requirements
4.1 Instructions for use
Instructions for use are in accordance with GB/T 5296.4 and GB 31701.
4.2 Size and specifications
4.2.1 The size setting shall be in accordance with GB/T 1335.
4.2.2 The specifications of the main parts shall be designed by the user in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T 1335.
4.3 Raw materials
4.3.1 Fabrics
Fabrics that meet the relevant quality requirements of this standard shall be used.
4.3.2 Accessories
4.3.2.1 Lining, decorative lace, pocket bag
The lining, decorative lace, and pocket bag shall be appropriate for the performance of the fabric used, and their quality shall meet the relevant provisions of this standard.
4.3.2.2 Sewing threads, cords, elastic bands
Sewing threads, cords, and elastic bands (excluding decorative threads and decorative strips) shall be appropriate for the properties of the fabrics and accessories used.
4.3.2.3 Buttons, zippers and other accessories
Buttons (excluding decorative buttons), zippers, and other accessories shall be appropriate for the fabric used. Buttons, decorative buttons, zippers, and other accessories shall have smooth surfaces, free from burrs, defects, flaws, and accessible sharp points and sharp edges. Zippers shall engage well and slide smoothly.
NOTE. Accessible sharp points and sharp edges refer to sharp edges and points on the finished product that may cause injury to human skin under normal wearing conditions.
4.4 Warp and weft yarn direction
The yarn skewness of the top collar, body, and sleeves shall not exceed 3%. The hem of the front shall not curl up.
4.5 Matching stripes and plaids
4.5.1 Fabrics with obvious stripes or plaids of 1.0 cm or more shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of Table 1.

4.5.2 For a fabric that has obvious stripes or plaids of 0.5 cm~1.0 cm (excluding 1.0 cm), the stripes and plaids shall be matched respectively between the pocket and the front, with a mutual difference of no more than 0.2 cm, except for special designs.
4.5.3 For special patterned fabrics, the main pattern shall prevail and the entire fabric shall be uniform in the same direction.
4.6 Color difference
The color difference between the top collar and the front of the finished product shall be higher than Level 4, while the color difference of other surface parts shall not be lower than Level 4, except for special designs.
4.7 Appearance defects
The permissible degree of defects in each part of the finished product is specified in
Table 2.The division of each part of the finished product is shown in Figure 1.Only one type of defect within the permissible degree is allowed in each part. Defects not listed in this standard are classified according to their morphology, and then the requirements for similar defects in the table can be a reference.

4.8.2 The seam allowance for each part shall not be less than 0.8 cm (except for special processes such as collar, pocket, closure, and front edge); the sewing stitches shall be straight, neat, flat and firm; the tension of the top and bottom threads shall be appropriate, with no skipped stitches or broken stitches, and the backstitch at the start and end of the stitch shall be firm.
4.8.3 The seams of sleeves, cuffs, pockets, garment pieces, hats, etc., shall be symmetrical, flat, and without skewing.
4.8.4 The collar shall be properly attached, flat, and the top collar shall be appropriately tight and not curl up.
4.8.5 The sleeves shall be smoothly set in, and the placements (front/back) of both sleeves shall be basically the same.
4.8.6 The bias strips and bands shall be flat and of uniform width.
4.8.7 The pocket mouth stay should be finished clean or overlocked.
4.8.8 The two ends of the pocket mouth shall be secure, and can be tied with a bar- tacking machine or backstitched with a lockstitch sewing machine.
4.8.9 The fastening stitches at the armhole, sleeve seam, side seam, hem, cuff, and inner facing shall be secure.
4.8.10 The buttonhole is accurately positioned, appropriately sized, and the button and buttonhole are aligned, neat, and secure. The button feet are at an appropriate height, and the knots are not exposed.
4.8.11 Trademarks and durable labels shall be positioned upright and flat.
4.8.12 Within 30 cm of the sewing stitch of each part of the finished product, there shall be no consecutive skipped stitches or more than one single skipped stitch. Skipped
