1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements and test methods related to medical X-ray image intensifier television system.

This standard applies to the use of medical X-ray image intensifiers for medical X-ray image intensifier television system for X-ray fluoroscopy (Hereinafter referred to as television system, except in Chapter 3).
