Scope
QC/T 929-2022 is the English-translated version of 一端固定式塑料管线夹.
QC/T 929-2022 sets requirements for automotive plastic cable and tubing clips fixed through a hole on the side of the clip. It covers single-tube and double-tube clips for two installation hole diameters, D0 = 6.5 and D0 = 8.0, and specifies their type and size, technical conditions and product numbering.
The revision updates the nominal values of D, D1 and d and adds requirements for aging, prohibited substances, pin insertion and clip withdrawal force, combustion characteristics under GB 8410 and acceptance quality limit (AQL).
A normative annex shows how the side-fixed clips are applied. It replaces QC/T 929-2013, was issued on 8 April 2022 and has applied since 1 October 2022.

Foreword
This document was drafted, in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2020 "Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents".
This document replaces QC/T 929-2013 "Plastic cable and tubing clips with side-fix hole". Compared with QC/T 929-2013, the main changes are as follows:
- REVISE the nominal values of D and d of the plastic cable and tubing clips with side-fix hole (single tube) (see Table 1);
- REVISE the nominal values of D, D1 and d of the plastic cable and tubing clips with side-fix hole (double tube) (see Table 2);
- ADD the aging requirements (see Table 3);
- ADD the requirements for prohibited substances (see Table 3);
- ADD the requirements for the insertion force of pin and withdrawal force of tubing clip (see Table 3);
- ADD the requirements for combustion characteristics (see Table 3);
- ADD the requirements for acceptance quality limit (AQL) (see Table 3).
1 Scope
This document specifies the type, size, technical conditions of plastic cable and tubing clips with side-fix hole.
This document is applicable to plastic cable and tubing clips with side-fix hole for automobiles, including two types of single tube and double tube and two types of installation hole diameters (D0 = 6.5 or D0 = 8.0).
