Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 2078-2007 "Carbide indexable insert size with rounded hole fixing", and GB/T 2078-

Compared with.2007, the main technical changes except editorial changes are as follows.

--- Added VN model blade (see Chapter 3);

--- Modified the requirements for dimensional tolerance, not limited to M (see 4.1,.2007 version 4.1);

--- Added some models of blades and their dimensions (see Chapter 7);

--- Removed Appendix A, and the remaining appendix numbers were modified accordingly (see Appendix A of the.2007 edition).

This standard uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 3364.2017 "Carbide indexable insert size fixed with rounded holes".

---TN. an equilateral triangle blade with a 0° back angle;

---SN. square blade with a 0° back angle;

---CN. a diamond-shaped blade with a 0° back angle and a 80° nose angle;

---DN. a diamond-shaped blade with a 0° back angle and a 55° nose angle;

---WN. a hexagonal blade with a 0° back angle and a 80° nose angle;

---VN. Diamond blade with 0° back angle and 35° nose angle.

The indexable inserts included in this standard can be double-sided with chipbreakers, either with a chipbreaker on one side or without chipbreakers on both sides.

This standard does not specify the shape and size of the chip breaker. If necessary, you can attach a schematic diagram or explain it. Table B.1 gives the blade
