Scope
QC/T 924-2011 is the English-translated version of 重型商用车辆燃料消耗量限值（第一阶段）.
QC/T 924-2011 is the recommended Chinese automotive industry standard that sets first-stage fuel consumption limits for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. The limits it lays down apply to gasoline and diesel commercial vehicles whose maximum design gross mass is greater than 3500 kg, including trucks, tractor-trailer combinations and buses.
Several categories are left out: dump trucks, city buses, van-bodied special operation vehicles, tank special operation vehicles, dump special operation vehicles, warehouse-gate special operation vehicles, crane lifting vehicles and special-purpose vehicles of special construction.
It quotes GB/T 3730.1, GB/T 3730.2, GB/T 17350-2009 and GB/T 27840-2011. Issued on 31 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
