Scope
QC/T 652-2015 is the English-translated version of 吸污车.
Suction-type sewer scavengers, the tank vehicles that draw up sewage and sludge, are governed by QC/T 652-2015, a recommended standard of the Chinese automotive industry.
It fixes the terms and definitions for these vehicles, the requirements they must meet, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, transport, storage and the technical documents carried with the vehicle.
It is written for suction sewage trucks built on a series-production chassis, while trailer-based versions may follow it by reference. GB 1589, GB 7258, GB/T 9969, GB/T 17350-2009, JB/T 5943, QC/T 252 and the QC/T 29105 parts are among the standards it cites.
The edition replaces QC/T 652-2000. Issued on 30 April 2015, it has applied since 1 October 2015.
