NB/T 20039.13-2012 is the English-translated version of 核空气和气体处理规范 通风、空调与空气净化 第13部分：碘吸附器（III型）.

Part 13 of the NB/T 20039 series, NB/T 20039.13-2012, is the Chinese energy industry standard for type III iodine adsorbers. It lays down the minimum requirements for the performance, design, testing, manufacture and quality assurance of these adsorbers where they serve air or gas treatment systems related to nuclear safety.

Purification systems in nuclear facilities are its main field, while adsorbers with no bearing on nuclear safety may consult it. It does not apply to the condenser exhaust system of a power plant, to inert gas retention systems, or to ordinary heating and cooling ventilation systems.
