Scope
QC/T 634-2007 is the English-translated version of 汽车水暖式暖风装置.
QC/T 634-2007 is the recommended Chinese automotive industry standard for water-heating type heaters installed in vehicles. It sets the requirements for the heater unit, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
It applies to heaters that take hot water from the vehicle engine as their heat source and, with a fan, warm the interior and clear frost and mist from the glass.
GB/T 3785-1983 and QC/T 29092 are quoted in it. It was drawn up with reference to JIS D5901-1988 and SAE J638-1993, and it replaces QC/T 634-2000. Issued on 14 November 2007, it has applied since 1 May 2008.
