Scope
QC/T 427-2013 is the English-translated version of 汽车用电源总开关技术条件.
QC/T 427-2013 is the recommended Chinese automotive standard for the battery master switch, the device that cuts a vehicle's battery off from the rest of its electrical system.
It defines the switch, states the requirements it has to meet, and gives the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
Mechanical and electromagnetic automotive switches rated at 12 V and 24 V fall within its scope. The environmental test series GB/T 2423.1, 2423.2, 2423.4, 2423.8, 2423.17 and 2423.22 is called up, along with GB/T 2828.1, GB 4208-2008, GB/T 30038-2013 and QC/T 413-2002.
It supersedes QC/T 427-1999. Issued on 25 April 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
