Scope
QC/T 234-2014 is the English-translated version of 摩托车和轻便摩托车转向轴承技术条件.
QC/T 234-2014 is a recommended Chinese automotive industry standard for the steering bearings of motorcycles and mopeds. It fixes the terms and definitions used for these bearings and sets out requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage.
It applies to the steering bearings of motorcycles and mopeds, and is classified T84 in China and 43.140 internationally. The standard quotes a wide set of bearing and general engineering documents, among them GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 308-2002, GB/T 1184, GB/T 2828.1-2003, GB/T 18254-2002, JB/T 1255, JB/T 7048 and JB/T 10235-2001.
It supersedes the 1997 edition, QC/T 234-1997. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
