QC/T 231-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended automotive industry standard covering kick starters for motorcycles and mopeds. It gives the terms and definitions used for this component, the requirements it must meet, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging and storage. Everything in it is written for kick starters fitted to motorcycles and mopeds. Classified T84 and 43.140, it works with a wide set of general standards, among them GB/T 191, GB/T 1804-2000, GB/T 1973.1-2005, GB/T 2828.1, GB/T 5363, GB/T 6414-1999, GB/T 10095.1-2008, GB/T 12362, GB/T 13914-2002 and GB/T 15114.
