Foreword

GB/T 1973 "Small Cylindrical Coil Spring" is divided into three parts.

---Part 1: Technical conditions;

---Part 2: Dimensions and parameters of extension springs;

---Part 3: Compression spring dimensions and parameters. This part is Part 1 of GB/T 1973.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB/T 1973.1-2005 "Technical Conditions for Small Cylindrical Coil Springs". This part and GB/T 1973.1-2005 In comparison, the main technical changes except for editorial changes are as follows.

---Modified the normative reference documents (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2005 edition);

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 1973 specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, packaging, marking, and transportation of small cylindrical spiral springs. Transportation and storage requirements.

This section applies to circular cross-section cylindrical spiral compression, tension and torsion springs with a cross-section diameter of less than 0.5 mm of spring material (hereinafter abbreviated as Called spring). Other springs can be used as reference.
