Scope
QC/T 225-2013 is the English-translated version of 摩托车和轻便摩托车用起动电机技术条件.
Starter motors for motorcycles and mopeds are governed by QC/T 225-2013, a recommended standard of the Chinese automobile industry.
It sets the requirements for the starter motor and defines the test conditions, the test equipment and the test methods, together with the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
The standard is a modified adoption of ISO 8856-1995 and carries the classifications T80 and 43.140. It is applied with GB/T 191, GB 755-2008, QC/T 413-2002 and QC/T 467.
It replaces the two parts of the previous edition, QC/T 225.1-1997 and QC/T 225.2-1997. Issued on 25 April 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
