QC/T 1027-2016 is the English-translated version of 汽车贴膜玻璃技术要求.
QC/T 1027-2016 is the recommended Chinese automotive industry standard for motor vehicle glazing to which a film has been applied. It gives the terms and definitions, the classification, the construction, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking for film-applied vehicle glass.
It applies to film put on the glass of vehicles already in use and to the film glazing so formed together with its application process, while film glass intended as protection against external damage falls outside it.
Classified T34 and 43.040, it is applied with GB/T 4851-2014, the four parts of GB/T 5137, GB/T 8170, GB 8410, GB 9656-2003, GB/T 11942, GB/T 16422.2-1999 and JC/T 632. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
