Scope
GB/T 41744-2022 is the English-translated version of 铜铟镓硒薄膜太阳能电池用基板玻璃.
GB/T 41744-2022 covers the substrate glass used for copper indium gallium selenide thin film solar cells and produced by the float process. It specifies the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for that glass, together with its marking, packaging, transportation and storage.
It defines the copper indium gallium selenide thin film solar cell, whose power-generating unit is a quaternary semiconductor compound film made by prefabricating copper, indium and gallium and then selenising them, and the sagging difference between the sag of the tin surface and that of the air surface of float glass.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 2680, GB/T 2828.1, GB/T 8170, GB 11614, GB/T 15764, GB/T 16920, GB/T 31838.2, GB/T 32639, SJ/T 11039 and SJ/T 11043. It was issued on 14 October 2022 and has applied since 1 May 2023.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15764 and GB/T 32639 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Copper indium gallium selenide thin film solar cell
The quaternary semiconductor compound film prepared by prefabrication of copper, indium and gallium and then selenization is used as the basic unit of power generation.
3.2 Sagging difference
The difference between the sag of the float glass tin surface and the sag of the air surface.
Note: The sag is the distance that the substrate glass sags due to its own weight after the substrate glass is suspended on a support frame with a specific spacing.
