Scope
NB/T 42004-2013 is the English-translated version of 高压交流电机定子线圈对地绝缘电老化试验方法.
This energy industry standard, NB/T 42004-2013, lays down a test method for the electrical endurance testing of the groundwall insulation of stator coils in high voltage alternating current machines rated from 4 kV to 27 kV.
It covers the electrical ageing test itself, the test equipment, the test procedure and the methods to be followed. The test is meant for alternators, synchronous condensers and machines of that kind.
Recommended in status, it is a non-equivalent adoption of IEEE Std 1043-1996 and IEEE Std 1553-2002 and refers to GB/T 16927.1, GB/T 16927.2, GB/T 20112 and JB/T 6204. Issued on 7 March 2013, it has applied since 1 August 2013.
