NB/T 20283-2014 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard that classifies the environmental conditions used when electrical equipment important to safety is qualified.
It gives the method for sorting into categories the environmental conditions that apply to such equipment and to its interfaces in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
The classification is meant for use when specific plant equipment is being qualified. The standard carries Chinese classification F83 and international classification 27.120.20.
It quotes GB/T 12727, GB/T 15474 and NB/T 20063-2012. Issued on 29 June 2014, it has applied since 1 November 2014.
