NB/T 20083-2012 is the English-translated version of 核电厂应急柴油发电机润滑油系统设计准则.

NB/T 20083-2012 is the Chinese energy industry standard that lays down design criteria for the lubricating oil system of the emergency diesel generator of a nuclear power plant.

It covers the functional, performance and design requirements of that system and its components in light water reactor plants, the aim being to assure the generator of sufficient lubrication.

Requirements are given for the mechanical equipment belonging to the system, but not for equipment mounted on the diesel engine body itself, for which only the interface design is addressed.

Electrical items such as power equipment, control panels, switchgear cabinets and cables serving the system from outside are likewise excluded. GB/T 12788, GB/T 17569, GB 50016, EJ/T 625, HAD 102/11 and HAD 102/13 are quoted. Issued on 6 January 2012, it has applied since 6 April 2012.

2 Scope
