NB/T 20082-2012 is the English-translated version of 核电厂安全级柴油发电机鉴定规程.
NB/T 20082-2012 is the Chinese energy industry standard giving the qualification procedure for the generator of the safety-class diesel generator set that serves as a standby power supply in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
It fixes the basic requirements for the qualification process, the methods to be used and the acceptance criteria. It is written for brushless self-excited three-phase synchronous generators rated between 6 kV and 10.5 kV.
Qualification of the generator excitation control part and of the internal combustion engine falls outside it.
