NB/T 20007.42-2015 is the Chinese energy industry standard that forms Part 42 of the series on stainless steel for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, covering precipitation-hardening stainless steel bars for reactor vessel internals.
It sets the manufacturing, inspection and acceptance requirements for those bars, which are used in the handling and support members inside the reactor. Its scope is limited to the grade 05Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb in bar form for that application.
The Chinese classification H44 and the international classification 77.140.60 both place it among stainless steel bar products. It quotes GB/T 223, GB/T 228.1-2010, GB/T 229-2007, GB/T 10561-2005, NB/T 20004-2014 and NB/T 20328.2-2015. Issued on 1 July 2015, it has applied since 1 December 2015.
