Scope
NB/T 11457-2023 is the English-translated version of 炼焦配煤技术导则.
NB/T 11457-2023 provides technical guidance on blending coals for coking. It sets general requirements, the classification, identification and quality requirements for raw coking coals, the indicators the coal charge must meet when loaded into the oven, how the blending method is determined, and the inspection and acceptance of coke quality.
It is intended for top-charged and stamp-charged coke ovens, while other blending practices may refer to it. Referenced methods include coke mechanical strength, reactivity and post-reaction strength, total sulfur, the caking index and volatile matter classification of coal, and small test coke ovens. Issued on 28 December 2023, it has applied since 28 June 2024.
