Scope
NB/T 11259-2023 is the English-translated version of 井工煤矿土地复垦质量监测技术规程.
Under NB/T 11259-2023, the quality of reclaimed land at underground coal mines is monitored through a defined sequence of steps. The code describes the workflow, preliminary preparation, division of the reclamation area into monitoring units, selection of monitoring indicators, field implementation and the writing of the monitoring report.
Informative annexes provide a survey form for the current state of reclaimed land, an indicator system for reclamation quality, a method for setting monitoring points and an outline for the report.
Soil sampling and tests such as pH, texture, bulk density and organic matter follow the NY/T 1121 series, while TD/T 1036-2013 supplies the reclamation quality reference. Issued on 26 May 2023, it has applied since 26 November 2023.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Land to be reclaimed
The land damaged by underground coal mining requires remediation measures to bring it into a usable state.
Note: Including areas such as subsided land, occupied land, temporary land, etc.
3.2 Land reclamation quality
After remediation measures, the land damaged by production and construction activities and natural disasters has improved in surface morphology, soil quality, supporting facilities and productivity levels. equality to the extent that it can be exploited. [Source: TD/T 1036-2013,3.2]
3.3 Land reclamation quality monitoring
Monitoring of land reclamation quality status and changing trends in underground coal mine reclamation areas after completion of land consolidation engineering measures.
