Scope
NB/T 10744-2021 is the English-translated version of 选煤用浮选药剂安全使用管理要求.
NB/T 10744-2021 is the Chinese energy industry standard on managing the safe use of flotation reagents in coal preparation plants.
It covers transport, with reagents of closed-cup flash point up to 93 °C moved as dangerous goods under JT/T 617.7 and those above 93 °C as general cargo under GB/T 9174, and storage in a separate chemical warehouse with labelled tanks and a bund to contain leaks.
Further clauses deal with safe handling in use, safety training and personal protection for operators, and emergency response and contingency plans prepared along the lines of GB/T 29639.
Fire protection of the stores refers to GB 50016 and GB 50140. Plant managers and safety officers apply it wherever frothers and collectors are handled. Issued on 16 November 2021, it has applied since 16 February 2022.
