NB/T 10533-2021 is the Chinese energy industry standard for restoring stable subsidence areas left by underground coal mining. It covers the basic survey and evaluation of a subsidence area, the choice of treatment mode, surface shaping, soil improvement, vegetation restoration and the supporting works such as irrigation and drainage.

Informative annexes describe how to carry out the basic survey and the typical treatment modes. Stable subsidence areas created by underground mining of other minerals can be treated with reference to it.

Land reclamation planners, mine operators and restoration contractors are its intended users. It was issued on 7 January 2021 and has applied since 1 April 2021.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of coal mining subsidence area control technology in underground coal mines, basic survey and evaluation, subsidence area control model type, surface shaping, soil improvement, vegetation restoration and supporting projects.
