Scope

NB/T 10306-2019 is the English-translated version of 电缆屏蔽用铜带.

NB/T 10306-2019 sets the Chinese energy industry requirements for copper tape used as the metallic screen of power, electronic, radio frequency, communication and control cables.

It lists the permitted copper grades, tempers and sizes, with a specific composition table for the TUP0.003 grade and the other grades referred to GB/T 5231.

Thickness and width tolerances, edge camber of no more than 1.5 mm/m, burr-free slitting and winding flatness are specified, together with tensile strength, elongation, Vickers hardness for information, electrical properties at 20 °C and surface condition.

Test methods point to GB/T 228.1, GB/T 3048.2 or YS/T 478 and GB/T 26303.3, while batch inspection, sampling to YS/T 668, retest rules, labelling and packaging to GB/T 8888 close the document. Issued on 4 November 2019, it has applied since 1 May 2020.
