Scope
GB/T 26303.3-2010 is the English-translated version of 铜及铜合金加工材外形尺寸检测方法 第3部分 板带材.
GB/T 26303.3-2010 is Part 3 of the Chinese national standard on measuring methods for the dimensions and shapes of wrought copper and copper alloys, covering sheets and strips; it specifies the instruments and gauges, preparation of specimens, environmental conditions, measuring methods and measurement report, and applies to the dimensional measurement of all copper and copper alloy sheets and strips.
It defines thickness, width, length, flatness, edgewise curvature, longitudinal curl (coil set), twist, crossbow, burrs, corner and rounded edge radii, bevel angle and the groove or land bottom width of U- and T-profile strips.
It assigns the instruments for each item (micrometers, vernier calipers, steel rules and tapes, radius gauges, surface plates, microscopes and profile projectors), sets specimen sizes and preparation, and gives step-by-step methods: thickness at set distances from edges and corners, width and length, flatness and edgewise curvature against a straightedge, curl and twist on a freely hanging specimen with the twist angle calculated as arcsin (x / b), and crossbow and burrs under a microscope or projector.
The series also comprises Part 1 (tubes) and Part 2 (rods, wires and profiles). It was issued on 14 January 2011 and has been in force since 1 November 2011. Classification: ICS 77.040.99, CCS H13. The document runs to 11 pages, delivered complete in English translation.
