Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces LY/T 1619-2017 "Garden machinery - Hand-held hedge trimmers powered by gasoline engines", LY/T 1810-2020 "Garden Machinery - Portable Pole Hedge Trimmers Powered by Gasoline Engines", LY/T 2156-2013 "Garden Machinery - Portable Pole Hedge Trimmers Powered by Gasoline Engines" Pole-type electric hedge trimmers", LY/T 2403-2014 "Garden machinery handheld electric hedge trimmers", LY/T 3020-2018 "Hand-held hedge trimmers powered by lithium-ion batteries for garden machinery", LY/T 3170-2019 "Hand-held hedge trimmers powered by lithium-ion batteries for garden machinery" Pole-type hedge trimmer with a battery as the power source". Compatible with LY/T 1619-2017, LY/T 1810-2020, LY/T 2156-2013, Compared with LY/T 2403-2014, LY/T 3020-2018 and LY/T 3170-2019, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical the changes are as follows.

1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of portable hedge trimmers (hereinafter referred to as "hedge trimmers"), gives the basic parameters of hedge trimmers, the requirements for performance and marking, operating instructions, packaging, transportation, storage and handling of hedge trimmers are specified, and the corresponding test methods are described.

And product model compilation method.

This document applies to the design, development, production and testing of the following hedge trimmers.

--- Hedge trimmers with lithium-ion batteries as power source and a nominal voltage not exceeding 75V (hereinafter referred to as "lithium-ion battery hedge trimmers");

--- Single-phase AC hedge trimmer with rated voltage not exceeding 250V (hereinafter referred to as "AC hedge trimmer");

--- Hedge trimmers powered by gasoline engines with a displacement not exceeding 80 cm3 (hereinafter referred to as "petrol hedge trimmers").

Note. "Electric hedge trimmer" in this document is a general term for "lithium battery hedge trimmer" and "AC hedge trimmer".

This document does not apply to.

---Backpack petrol hedge trimmer;

---Hedge trimmers with rotating blades;

--- Pole hedge trimmers with a maximum length greater than 3.5 m.
