Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces LY/T 1618-2004 "Portable Wind Sweeper for Garden Machinery". Compared with LY/T 1618-2004, except for in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The scope of the document has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2004 edition);

b) Changed the requirements and inspection methods on start-up performance (see 5.3.1, 4.2.2, 5.2 of the 2004 edition);

c) Changed the requirements and inspection methods on idling performance (see 5.3.2, 4.2.3, 5.3 of the 2004 edition);

d) Deleted the requirements and inspection methods on the cleaning distance (see 4.2.4, 5.4 of the 2004 edition);

e) Changed the requirements on the net mass of the complete machine (see 5.3.3, 4.2.7 of the 2004 edition);

f) The requirements and inspection methods for "air volume and wind speed" have been added (see 5.3.4);

g) Deleted the requirements and inspection methods for impeller dynamic balance (see 4.5.3 and 5.11 of the 2004 edition);

h) The requirements and inspection methods on the total pressure efficiency of fans are deleted (see 4.5.4 and 5.12 of the 2004 edition);

i) Changed the requirements on the manipulation mechanism and added the corresponding inspection method (see 5.4.3, 4.5.5 of the 2004 edition);

j) Added requirements and inspection methods for "straps" (see 5.4.4);

k) Changed the requirements and inspection methods for air inlet and outlet (see 5.5.2, 4.6.2, 4.6.3, 5.13.2 of the 2004 edition);

l) The requirements and inspection methods for the exhaust port of the muffler have been changed (see 5.5.3, 4.6.4, 5.13.2 of the 2004 edition);

m) The requirements and inspection methods for "gasoline engine temperature" are added (see 5.5.5);

n) The requirements and inspection methods for thermal protection have been changed (see 5.5.6, 4.6.6, 5.13.3 of the 2004 edition);

o) Changed the requirements on electromagnetic compatibility and added the corresponding inspection method (see 5.5.7, 4.1 of the 2004 edition);

p) Changed the noise requirements and inspection methods (see 5.5.8, 4.2.5, 5.5 of the 2004 edition);

q) Changed the vibration requirements and inspection methods (see 5.5.9, 4.2.6, 5.6 of the 2004 edition);

r) Changed the requirements and inspection methods on reliability and durability (see 5.6, 4.3, 4.4, 5.9 of the 2004 edition);

s) Deleted the content of "inspection rules" (see Chapter 6 of the 2004 edition);

t) Changed the requirements and inspection methods on signs, instruction manuals, packaging, transportation and storage (see Chapter 6, 2004 edition Chapter 7, Chapter 8).

1 Scope

This document specifies the product model, basic parameters, technical requirements and test methods, Signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to garden knapsack wind sweepers powered by gasoline engines (hereinafter referred to as "wind sweepers").
