JB/T 8345-2011 was issued by MIIT on 20 December 2011 and has been in force since 1 April 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8345-1996.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that fixes the dimensions and the tolerances of the 1:24 tapered bore of Gleason spiral bevel gear cutters. It applies to spiral bevel gear milling cutters having a tapered bore of 1:24 taper with a taper length from 6 mm to 40 mm. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 157, GB/T 11334 and GB/T 23575.
