JB/T 8359-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8359-1996.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that deals with the cutter spindle end of spiral bevel gear milling machines. It sets out the basic type of that spindle end and the dimensions which define it. It also fixes the technical requirements applying to the spindle end and to the connection through which the cutting tool is mounted on it. The standard quotes GB/T 70.1-2000, GB/T 1097-2003, GB/T 11334-2005 and GB/T 23575-2009, and it replaces JB/T 8359-1996. It is filed under the Chinese classification J56 and the international classification 25.080.99.
