JB/T 7967-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7967-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard covering gear shaper cutters for internal involute splines. It lays down the basic types and the dimensions of cutters of module 1 mm to 10 mm with a standard pressure angle of 30 degrees, intended for cutting the internal involute splines specified in GB/T 3478.1 and GB/T 3478.2, and it provides for accuracy classes A and B. Its field of application is gear shaper cutters for internal involute splines. Besides those two spline documents it also quotes GB/T 6082. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it in place of JB/T 7967-1999, under Chinese classification J41 and international classification 25.100.99.
