It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7715-1995.

2 Scope

This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard on steels for cold forging dies. Its technical requirements apply to the steel from which the working parts of cold forging dies are made, and it also fixes how that steel is inspected, marked and packaged.
