1 Foreword

JB/T 7599.8-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7599.8-1994.

It is one of 21 parts of the JB/T 7599 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the part of the Chinese machinery industry standard on insulating enamels for enamelled winding wires that deals with class 240 aromatic polyimide enamel. It states the technical requirements for the enamel and the inspection rules applied to it, and it covers packaging, marking, storage and transport. The part is written for enamels based on aromatic polyimide resin synthesised from pyromellitic anhydride and diaminodiphenyl ether. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 4074.1, GB/T 4074.4, GB/T 4074.7, GB/T 6109.22, GB/T 7095.5 and JB/T 7599.1-2013. It replaces JB/T 7599.8-1994 and is filed under the classifications K12 and 29.060.01.
