JB/T 7578-2015 is the English-translated version of 食物搅碎器用串励电动机.
JB/T 7578-2015 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the series wound motors fitted to food mashers. It sets out the types, the basic parameters and dimensions, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for the motor, and closes with the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage.

JB/T 7578-2015 was issued by MIIT on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7578-1994.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the series wound motors fitted to food mashers. It sets out the types, the basic parameters and dimensions, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for the motor, and closes with the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage. The standard is written for the motors of food mashers with cutting tools and of similar household appliances; motors designed specifically for industrial mashers, and motors meant for use where corrosive or explosive conditions are present, fall outside it.
