JB/T 74-2015 was issued by MIIT on 10 October 2015 and has been in force since 1 March 2016.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 74-1994.
2 Scope
JB/T 74-2015 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the general specification for steel pipe flanges and flange covers. It fixes the materials, the pressure-temperature ratings, the dimensions and tolerances, the connection sealing faces, the fasteners and gaskets and the types and dimensions of welding ends, then goes on to manufacturing, testing, inspection and acceptance, marking and the requirements on supply.
