2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for integral steel pipe flanges. It sets out the types of the flange, its dimensions and the technical requirements it has to meet. The flanges it applies to are the integral steel pipe flanges of a nominal pressure from PN2.5 to PN200. It replaces the four parts JB/T 79.1-1994, JB/T 79.2-1994, JB/T 79.3-1994 and JB/T 79.4-1994. It quotes JB/T 74 and JB/T 75. The flange is filed under the Chinese classification J15 and the international classification 23.040.60, and the standard was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
