JB/T 6492-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6492-2001.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry for conical counter-rotating twin screw extruders used in plastics processing. It covers the model designation and basic parameters of these machines and goes on to the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, ending with marking, packaging, transport and storage.
