JB/T 5983-2017 was issued by MIIT on 9 January 2017 and has been in force since 1 July 2017.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5983-1992.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard, and what it lays down is a design method for belt drives that use V ribbed belts.
