1 Foreword

JB/T 4084-2017 was issued by MIIT on 9 January 2017 and has been in force since 1 July 2017.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4084-2007, JB/T 4084-1991.

2 Scope

JB/T 4084-2017 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for pendulum mills. It sets their types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage. It is written for pendulum mills grinding non-flammable and non-explosive mineral products such as gypsum, limestone, barite, fluorite, apatite, feldspar and quartzite, with a Mohs hardness of not more than 7 and a moisture content below 6%. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 3768, GB/T 4879, GB/T 6404.1, GB/T 13384, JB/T 5558 and JB/T 9050.1. It replaces JB/T 4084-2007. Its classification is CCS D94 and ICS 73.120.
