JB/T 3016-2014 is the English-translated version of 滚动轴承 包装箱 技术条件.

JB/T 3016-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the packaging boxes in which rolling bearings are shipped. It gives the basic technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for double-wall corrugated boxes, for other corrugated boxes and for ordinary wooden boxes. Its provisions are written for boxes holding rolling bearings with an outside diameter of not more than 180 mm. Box and packaging practice is drawn from a wide set of general documents, among them GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 4122.1-2008, GB/T 4857.3-2008, GB/T 4892-2008 and GB/T 6543-2008. It replaces the 2004 edition, JB/T 3016-2004. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
