JB/T 6637-2014 is the English-translated version of 滚动轴承 标准器技术条件.

Master bearings, the reference bearings against which production rolling bearings are checked, are the subject of JB/T 6637-2014, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. The standard covers the types of master bearing and of master bearing parts and then their structure, their materials and heat treatment, their dimensional tolerances, the tests to be run on them and the inspection rules, along with marking, rust prevention, packaging and storage. It therefore serves bearing manufacturers and their measuring rooms rather than the end users of bearings. The text works with GB/T 8597, GB/T 18254-2002, JB/T 1255-2014 and the metrological verification regulations JJG 343-2012 and JJG 894-1995. It replaces JB/T 6637-2004. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
