1 Foreword

JB/T 2772-2008 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 1 February 2008 and has been in force since 1 July 2008.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 2772-1992.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard in the valve components series, given to high pressure blind plates. It specifies the forms, the sizes and the technical requirements of the forged blind plates, without holes, that are sealed at the valve angle by a lens gasket. Its scope is the blind plates of nominal pressure from PN160 to PN320 and nominal size from DN3 to DN200. The standard replaces the 1992 edition, JB/T 2772-1992. It is classified as J16 in the Chinese scheme and 23.060 in the international one, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is the agency that issued it.
