1 Foreword

JB/T 2732.2-2008 was issued by MIIT on 4 June 2008 and has been in force since 1 November 2008.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 2732.2-1994.

It is one of 6 parts of the JB/T 2732 series.

2 Scope

This standard is Part 2 of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on cantilever and double column planing machines, the part concerned with accuracy testing. It specifies the preliminary checks to be made before testing, the geometric accuracy and the working accuracy of cantilever planers and portal planers, with the methods of test and the tolerances that go with them. It applies to general purpose machines of these two kinds whose maximum planing width runs from 1000 mm to 3150 mm. The document is classified as J57 in the Chinese scheme and 25.080.25 in the international one, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is its issuing agency.
